Javier Valls Prieto, a distinguished ethics and legal expert and professor at the University of Granada (UGR), participated in the II Congress of Artificial Intelligence of Andalusia, held on November, 19–21, 2024 at the Granada Conference Centre in Granada, Spain.

The event, organized by the Digital Agency of Andalusia and the Andalusian Government, brought together leading minds to explore the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) and the corresponding ethical challenges.

Javier contributed to the discussion during the session titled “Building a Responsible AI: Regulation, Transparency, and Ethics” which took place on November 21, 2024. The session, moderated by Jesús Jiménez López, Director of the Transparency and Data Protection Council of Andalusia, featured an expert panel, including other distinguished speakers: María Mora, Director of Risk and Fraud Solutions at Fujitsu’s Global Center of Excellence and Carlos Ollero, Deputy General Director of the Technical Area at Informa D&B.
