Impact in Action: Stories from BAG-INTEL’s Partners
At BAG-INTEL, we were developing an intelligent, AI-based system to make customs control of incoming air travelers’ baggage more efficient and effective. Behind this technical innovation was a story of collaboration, expertise, and a shared vision.
Our “Impact in Action” campaign was designed to share this story. We wanted to go beyond technology and introduce you to the people who were making it happen.
The BAG-INTEL consortium was a diverse group of 24 partners from across Europe, including industrial players, universities, research organizations, and government authorities. Each partner brought unique expertise, and this campaign shone a light on their BAG-INTEL journeys. Through a series of articles, you will:
- Meet our team: Get to know the dedicated researchers, engineers, and customs professionals from our consortium.
- Hear their stories: Discover the motivations, challenges, and aspirations that drive them to innovate.
- Understand the “why”: Learn how their work directly contributes to a safer, more efficient, and more effective customs process.
